EXTOLLING GOD WITH OUR MOUTH--C.H. SPURGEON

I have used this before a couple of years ago, but it is so good that I wanted to use it again. Please read it and ponder it.cw

Happy is he whose fingers are wedded to his harp. He who praises God for mercies shall never want a mercy for which to praise....Our thankfulness is not to be a dumb thing; it should be one of the daughters of music. Our tongue is our glory, and it ought to reveal the glory of God. What a blessed mouthful is God’s praise! How sweet, how purifying, how perfuming! If men’s mouths were always thus filled, there would be no repining against God, or slander of neighbours. If we continually rolled this dainty morsel under our tongue, the bitterness of daily affliction would be swallowed up in joy. God deserves blessing with the heart, and extolling with the mouth—good thoughts in the closet, and good words in the world.
C. H. Spurgeon, Psalm 34:1, The Treasury of David

You must be talking about Charles Spurgeon, whose English was indeed incredible. Since he is gone to glory, I will say thanks on his behalf.

Thank you 羅文浩. Of course, there is some truth in your statement, and we do appreciate your comment. To explore further, please consider this: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind" (James 1:5,6 NKJV).

Thanks Reeselane,
I don't mind the Chinese comments if they are constructive as yours are. I don't know Chinese but Babelfish tells me "幸福不是一切,人還有責任。"...translated "Happiness is not all, the human also has the responsibility." A true statement, though not from the Bible, it is a scripture supported truth. An example: "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies (2Thessalonians 3:10,11).
