This is one of many shots I took at the Berlin Wall near Brandenburg Gate. I bought some special B&W film (high speed), to try it out. I always prefer color shots, but the B&W highlights the drabness of East Germany at that time. Reagan said "Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall". Not too many years after this shot was taken the Germans did just that. I have one of "Checkpoint Charlie" if I can locate it.
