WORDS FROM MARTIN LUTHER
Three A.M. February 18, 1546
Martin Luther’s dying words:
“We are beggars, this is true. God is free, utterly free in His grace,and we are beggars, ‘pray-ers’. That is how we live. That is how we study, so that God gets the glory, and we get the grace.”
LUTHER'S GREAT HYMN
A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR GOD
This song has been called “the greatest hymn of the greatest man of the greatest period of German history” and the “Battle Hymn of the
Reformation.”
A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.
Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God's own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.
And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.
That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth:
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God's truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.

I have your name translated as "Remembers the Inscription". A little quaint, but Babelfish translates your words as "Happiness is not all, the human also has the responsibility." If you are not "putting me on", I do not disagree with your statement. Truly humans have responsibility, but no ability to come to Christ in themselves. It takes God's absolute power.
(modified Babelfish translation) "Towering sail" has left a new comment on your post WORDS FROM MARTIN LUTHER: "Such attentively manages your article, certainly is worth us lingering visiting!" Thanks for the kind words. I pray that day by day Jesus Christ will reveal Himself to you more and more.
